Besides coloring blocking being the summer fashion 2011 trend, blue has made its way on the list. This summer the color palette will showcase various shades of blue: bright blues, baby blues, and so on. This is one of my favorite trend this summer. Instead of wearing black to the office think about changing out your black garments for blues. Maybe you could think about wearing blue cropped pants instead of black pants or incorporate a block of blue with that tailored white shirt. The good thing about blue is that you could match it with any other color or pattern to make it interesting. A lot or a splash of this color will go a long way.
I would not, however, wear the beauty trends associated with blue to the office, blue fingernails, for example. This color is unacceptable in an office setting; save it for the weekend or a day out of the office. Blue on the eyes can be done, but with caution. Done tastefully not tacky, you could wear this in the office as well as outside the office.
