Keep it Simple: Presenting with Success

Whether it is a status update with your team or a more formal presentation to a client, a key to a successful presentation is keeping it simple. We take pride in our hard work and the many working pieces of each project, so it is easy to get wrapped up in the minutia. Most audiences
will remember very little of what you present and will instead focus on the key points, so review
your notes carefully.

Determine the essential elements (such as timelines and budgets) and only mention back-up information that directly supports those points.

Remember that simple does not mean ill-prepared. Always be ready to answer questions and if appropriate, distribute a one-page summary to your audience that contains specific details.
Keep it simple, keep it brief – and keep it confident!
