Carry rations rather than buy (less healthy, more expensive!) airport food. This is a win-win for your wallet and your waistline. Pack your snacks and bring along an empty water bottle. You can’t bring a full bottle through security, but if you bring an empty one plus a stash of crystal light packets, you can have some extra flavor on the cheap, all the while doing your best to stay hydrated!
